Overview

Description

The Ben Lee Fellowship (successor to the Fermilab Frontier Fellowship) was created to honor the memory of the Founding Head of the Theoretical Physics Department, with the goal of attracting to Fermilab distinguished visiting theorists with outstanding achievements in particle physics. Ben Lee Fellows contribute to, and profit from, the intellectual environment of the Theoretical Physics Department, and are encouraged to interact with the Laboratory’s experimental community. Typically, a Fellow will present a research seminar and a colloquium, and will be invited to participate in the Fermilab Academic Lecture Series.

Term of Appointment

The term ranges between one month and one year.

Application Procedure

Interested senior theorists should communicate with the Head of the Theoretical Physics Department at least six months in advance of an intended visit to Fermilab.
