Fermilab director search update - August 2025

Dear members of the Fermilab Community,

The search for Fermilab's next director continues to move forward. The committee has been conducting interviews with a strong pool of highly qualified candidates. The committee was impressed by their expertise, experience, and clear passion for Fermilab's history and mission.

We are grateful for the input shared by many across the community through stakeholder sessions and the Director Search website. Your perspectives continue to inform our process, and we welcome the feedback.

To respect candidate privacy and preserve the integrity of the search, we are not sharing the identities of any candidates. We are committed to completing the process and welcoming the director by the end of this year.
