Abri Credit Union is now selling books of stamps
Stamps can be sold to members and non members. Non members must pay cash. There is no additional service fee. Currently, stamps are $9.00 per book.

Yoga Begins Mar. 6
Reduce your stress level and sign up for yoga on Tuesdays, Mar. 6 - Apr. 24, noon - 1 p.m. in the Auditorium, $85/person. Suitable for all ages and levels of experience. Learn a variety of physical and resting poses along with various breathing and relaxation techniques. Wear comfortable clothes. Bring a yoga or exercise mat. CERN book give-away
The Library is distributing copies of The CERN Large Hadron Collider: Accelerator and Experiments at http://jinst.sissa.it/LHC/. The scientific articles collected in this two-volume work set the stage for the work to come at the LHC. Pick up copies at the Library (Wilson Hall 3X)or e-mail library@fnal.gov to have copies sent to you.

Fermilab Garden Club Spring Meeting Mar. 14

Walk 2 Run Mar. 1 through May 3
This FREE 10-week program can help you improve your fitness and lose weight by gradually increasing your running potential. The first week you will begin walking and then run 2 minutes. At the conclusion of the 10 weeks you will complete a 30 minute continuous run. You are welcome to join us regardless of age, speed or level of experience. No need to sign up. Fermilab Lecture Series Presents The Intensity Frontier Mar. 23
With the Energy Frontier moving over to Europe and the LHC, Fermilab is making plans to increase its dominance of the Intensity Frontier. The focus of the planned program will be investigations in the area of muon, kaon, neutrino and nuclear studies which will probe for potential new phenomena beyond the current Standard Model of Particle Physics. This lecture will explain the importance of the Intensity Frontier to the world's understanding of nature and its significance to Fermilab. Deadline Approaching for Summer 2012 On-Site Housing Requests
Those requesting reservations for on-site housing (houses, apartments, and dormitory rooms) for the SUMMER of 2012 can now submit their request to the Fermilab Housing Office. Gallery Series Present Arianna String Quartet - Mar. 4
"Quartet playing doesn't get much better than this" raves the Chicago Tribune about the award winning Arianna String Quartet. Don't miss an afternoon of music by Beethoven and Tchaikovsky, along with an "almost" world premiere of a new work commissioned for the quartet by composer David Stock. The work actually premieres two nights prior. This group has performed around the world, and won numerous international competitions. They are artists in residence at the University of Missouri, Saint Louis. The 2:30 concert, in the Second Floor Art Gallery,incl udes a post-concert artist reception.

"5 Treasures" Qigong for Stress Relief begins Jan. 23
"Five Treasures" is a short, easy to learn, set of Qigong exercises. Specific attention on coordination of breath, posture and intention. URA Visiting Scholars Program deadline - Feb. 29
Universities Research Association, Inc. (URA) has announced a deadline of February 29 for the submission of applications for the Spring 2012 cycle of awards in the URA Visiting Scholars Program at Fermilab. Successful applicants will be notified at the end of March 2012.
