Fermilab Board Game Guild
The Fermilab Board Game Guild meets every Tuesday at the User's Center from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Everyone is welcome, and no connection with Fermilab is required. Board games played include, but are not limited to, Puerto Rico, Ticket To Ride, Seven Wonders, Stone Age, Attica, Alhambra, Citadels, and many more. Preschool & Beginner Swim Lesson Registration Due July 13
The next session of Preschool and Beginner Swim Lessons will be held Monday - Thursday, July 20 - July 30 at the Fermilab Village Pool. Registration closes July 13. For more information or to register go to www.jeffellismanagement.com

WalkingWorks Final Week Winners
This is the final week of the 8 week WalkingWorks program and we have yet another new Top Walker. Congratulations to Marco Mambelli. Our Participation Drawing Winner this week is Jamie Grado. Congratulations to both of you. Keep up the good work! Winners should stop by the Wellness Office, WH15W, to pick out a prize. We had 72 participants that walked a total of 6,266 miles. Pilates Registration Due July 13
The next session of Mat Pilates will be held on Mondays, July 20 - August 31 from 12-12:45pm in the Fitness Center Exercise Room. Fee is $87. This Mat Pilates class is suitable for beginner and intermediate level participants. Pilates is an excellent way to reduce back pain, strengthen your core and increase flexibility. This class focuses on low impact floor exercises that target the deep muscles of the abdomen and spine. Some of the major benefits include improved posture, balance, core strength, flexibility and long, lean muscles without excess bulk. Not recommended for those with osteoporosis. English country dancing Sunday, July 26, at Kuhn Barn
English country dancing will be held Sunday, July 26, at Kuhn Village Barn. The program starts with dances for experienced dancers at 1 p.m., and dances for everyone from 2 to 5 p.m. Newcomers are always welcome to join this social and accessible sort of dancing. The group meets monthly, year-round, with live music usually every other month. Fermilab Softball League
The Fermilab co-ed 14” recreational softball league has openings for both male and female players. Games are once a week in the Village on either Wed or Thurs through Sept 10, including playoffs. No experience necessary. Contact Chris Greer at cgreer@fnal.gov or x4847.

User Center Entrance Repair on Sauk Blvd in the Village
The 2 entrances at the West end of the User Center Parking Lot off Sauk Boulevard will be closed for repair starting July 6th, 2015, weather permitting. User Center visitors should use the entrance off Che Che Pinqua St. to enter and park in the lot. Work is expected to last several weeks.

Call for proposals: URA Visiting Scholars Program
Universities Research Association Inc. has announced a deadline of Aug. 31st, for the submission of applications for the fall 2015 cycle of awards in the URA Visiting Scholars Program (VSP) at Fermilab. Award recipients will be notified by the end of September. These awards provide financial support for faculty and graduate students from URA's 89 member universities to work at Fermilab for periods of up to one year. URA makes two rounds of awards each year, in the spring and fall. The application deadline for the spring 2016 cycle is Feb. 29, 2016. Deadline Approaching for Fall 2015 / Spring 2016 onsite housing requests
The deadline draws near for requesting onsite accommodations for houses, apartments, and dormitory rooms for the remainder of 2015 and the spring of 2016. Please submit your request for reservations to the Housing Office by Monday, July 13, 2015. Requests can be made for any period and need not commence on any particular date. International folk dancing moves to Ramsey Auditorium, meeting Thursday evenings through the summer
International folk dancing meets Thursday evenings from June 17 through September 3 in the air-conditioned comfort of Ramsey Auditorium in Wilson Hall. Dancing runs from 7:30 to 10 p.m. and newcomers are always welcome. There is instruction and dances for children and newer dancers early and request dancing later on. Need someone to walk with? Wednesday Walkers depart each Wednesday promptly at noon from outside the East Side entrance of Wilson Hall. Time, distance and speed are up to you.
