NALWO Winter Coffee/Tea
NALWO invites everyone to attend the Winter Coffee & Tea on Monday, 8 December, between 11:00 AM and 1:00 PM in the Wilson Hall Art Gallery cross-over. Coffee, tea, and various snacks, sweet and savory, will be offered. If you would like to bring an edible contribution of your own, an ethnic favorite or just something you enjoy, please do, but don't feel obliged to do so. Ultimate Core Class Sign Up Due November 26
Ultimate Core participants learn a variety of exercises designed to increase core strength. This strength training workout focuses on increasing flexibility and strengthening the abdominal area. This class is suitable for all levels. Class is held on Wednesdays, December 3, 10 and 17 at the Fitness Center Exercise Room from 12-12:45pm. In January the class will move to Fridays. School's Day Out: November 24-25
School's out Day Camp: Nov. 24 and 25 Childcare for school age children (7-12 years) will be offered at Kuhn Barn from 7:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m., cost is $25.00 per camper/per day. Enrollment will be accepted until noon on Friday, Nov. 21. Space is limited and will be filled on a first come, first serve basis. The program will be cancelled if less than 7 register. Campers will need to bring a lunch. A refrigerator and microwave are available. Beverage at lunch, morning and afternoon snack will be provided. Email daycare@fnal.gov to register.

Timecards week of Nov. 17-23 due early
Week of Nov 17-23 employees submit their timecard by 10 a.m. Friday Nov. 21. Supervisors have all timecards approved by noon Friday Nov. 21. Payroll will sign off Friday Nov 21 at noon (non exempt) & 3 p.m. (exempt). Pay day for non exempt employees for this week will be Wed. Nov. 26.

Fermi Society of Philosophy talk, Nov 20, 12:30, Req Room (WH4NW)
A. Burov, "Faith of fundamental science: the loss of philosophy". Contemporary relation between fundamental science and philosophy can be described as a historically unique loss of each other. Indoor Soccer is on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm in the Gym at the Village. Gym membership is required. Please contact O'Sheg Oshinowo for more information.

Scottish country dancing Tuesday evenings at Kuhn Barn
Scottish country dancing is held Tuesday evenings in Kuhn Village Barn from 7:30 to 10 p.m. Newcomers are always welcome and are paired with experienced dancers -- no need to come with a partner. International folk dancing Thursday evenings at Kuhn Barn (except on Thanksgiving)
International folk dancing is held every Thursday evening (except for the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays) starting at 7:30 p.m. at Kuhn Village Barn. Newcomers are always welcome. There is instruction and dances for children and newer dancers early and request dancing later on. The group dances year-round, moving to Ramsey Auditorium if the Barn is not available. NALWO Playgroup meets Wednesdays, 5:15 at Users' Center
Parents with children ages 0 to 10 are welcome to join the NALWO Playgroup, which meets on Wednesday afternoons from 5:15-6:45 p.m. at the Users' Center. Playgroup provides an opportunity for socialization for both parents and children. For older children, there are games and arts and crafts projects. Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) on December 1 - 5, 2014 (PM only)
This training is an introduction to theory and rules; linear transformation to GD&T; Datum and datum features; 14 geometric symbols; Feature control frames; Analysis of measurement applications; and Global simplification of GD&T. In-depth analysis and implications of advanced principles; Optimization strategies in applications and analysis of design, manufacturing and measurement; Advanced tolerancing development; GD&T implications to six-sigma initiatives and product reliability. Broomball Open League
FBBL Broomball is an outdoor, year-round, all-weather (except lightning) sport… think field hockey but played with homemade "brooms" and a large tennis ball. Games are played on an open basis in the Village, either on the soccer field or the 'Blackhawk Glade' between Blackhawk Blvd and Shabonna St, depending on the number of players that day. Games are usually during lunch (12:15-12:45) but may include 5 o'clock games during warmer months.
