Needed: BeV Accelerators: Studies on Experimental Use, vols. 1 & 2
This is a 3 volume design study which the library would like to scan for inclusion in the INSPIRE database. We currently have vol. 3 but still need volumes 1 & 2. Please contact Kathy at ksaumell@fnal.gov if you think you can help.

Weight Management Class
This 10 week Lifestyle Patterns Approach to Weight Management class is a convenient workplace program led by Tiffany Davis, MS, RD, LDN. Tiffany is a Licensed and Registered Dietitian with a strong passion for nutritional counseling. She recognizes the impact that stress, depression, and anxiety can have on one's eating. As a Dietitian, she effectively works with individuals motivating, educating and inspiring to bring about life long changes. This class will be held on Thursdays, September 18 - November 20, 12-1pm, in Wilson Hall, Curia II (2nd floor). Fee: $50 for 10 classes. Register by September 11th in the Wellness Office, WH15W. TeX Users Group journal
All of Fermilab now has online access to TUGboat,the journal of the TeX Users Group http://tug.org/TUGboat/Contents/contents33-3.html and the library is receiving print copies of the journal. The TeX Users Group (TUG) was founded in 1980 to provide an organization for people who are interested in typography and font design, and/or are users of the TeX typesetting system invented by Donald Knuth. Our print subscription includes 8 more subscriptions for individuals with Fermilab addresses. Contact the Fermilab library library@fnal.gov if you would like your own print subscription.

International folk dancing Thursday evenings at Ramsey Auditorium through Sept 4, then at Kuhn Barn
International folk dancing meets Thursday evenings through September 4 at Ramsey Auditorium, and returns to Kuhn Barn September 11 (just in time for a preview of cross-step waltz to be taught at the the Harvest Moon Dance Weekend Sept. 12-14). Dancing runs from 7:30 to 10 p.m. and newcomers are always welcome. There is instruction and dances for children and newer dancers early and request dancing later on. Scottish country dancing Tuesday evenings in Ramsey Auditorium through Sept. 2, then at Kuhn Barn
Scottish country dancing meets Tuesday evenings in Ramsey Auditorium through September 2, continuing in Kuhn Village Barn from September 9 on. Dancing is held from 7:30 to 10 p.m. Newcomers are always welcome and are paired with experienced dancers -- no need to come with a partner. English country dancing Sunday afternoon, September 7, at Kuhn Barn
English country dancing will be held Sunday, September 7, at Kuhn Village Barn. There will be live music by Old Fezziwig's Band. The program starts with dances for experienced dancers at 1 p.m., and dances for everyone from 2 to 5 p.m. Newcomers are always welcome to join this social and accessible sort of dancing. The group meets monthly, year-round, with live music usually every other month. Users Executive Committee election, voting deadline September 8
Voting is open to elect six new members of the 13-member Fermilab Users Executive Committee through midnight Central Time on Monday, September 8. For photos, CVs, statements of interest from candidates for the open positions, and voting instructions, see http://www.fnal.gov/orgs/fermilab_users_org/elections/2014/index.html. You must have a valid FNAL ID to vote, and you may choose a maximum of six candidates. New members will serve two year terms from fall 2014 through summer 2016. Retiring from the UEC are M.A. Cummings, C. Group, B. Quinn, M. Rominsky, G. Snow, and N. Varelas. Continuing members are S. Biedron, T. Bose, A. de Gouvea, B. Lee, V. O'Dell, M. Soares-Santos, and L. Roberts.

Gallery Talk September 3, noon
Please join us on Wednesday, September 3 at noon in the Art Gallery for an informal gallery talk by Louise LeBourgeois. Since she has spent the summer swimming in open water, she will discuss the physical relationship between her painting and her swimming: the interaction between her own body with a large body of water, and the metaphysical implications of pushing off from solid ground and moving through fluid space.

NBI 2014 Workshop
The 9th Neutrino Beams and Instrumentation Workshop will be held at Fermilab on September 23-26. This workshop is a unique opportunity for physicists and engineers, working on conventional neutrino beams, to meet together, and discuss intensively their equipment in operating and planned experiments. Traditionally, this workshop focuses closely on the actual physical devices that compose neutrino beam facilities, with an emphasis on operating experiments and those at advanced phases of construction or planning.
