Strength Training Registration Due August 28
This class builds endurance and strong muscles, speeds up metabolism, and improves balance and flexibility. Endurance training develops long, lean, well-shaped, toned musculature – muscles that are strong and do not fatigue easily. This enables better performance in most sports and – most importantly – everyday activities. The combination of strength and flexibility training is a winning one and will improve your ability to function at your best in your real life. The next session will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays, September 4 – October 28 from 5 – 6pm at the Fitness Center Exercise Room. Fee is $82/person. Minimum 6 people. Register by August 28 in the Wellness Office, WH15W.

NBI 2014 Workshop
The 9th Neutrino Beams and Instrumentation Workshop will be held at Fermilab on September 23-26. This workshop is a unique opportunity for physicists and engineers, working on conventional neutrino beams, to meet together, and discuss intensively their equipment in operating and planned experiments. Traditionally, this workshop focuses closely on the actual physical devices that compose neutrino beam facilities, with an emphasis on operating experiments and those at advanced phases of construction or planning. The workshop webpage is at: https://indico.fnal.gov/event/NBI14.
