- Ability to distribute package for NT without having
to rebuild it locally.
- Support for KAI 4.0 on Sun 5.8 systems.
SpecialFunctions modification:
- Transitioned to use of gsl 0.7.
CLHEP enhancement:
- Matrix constructors zero locally allocated memory to avoid
FP traps on Intel chips.

April 17, 2001:
ZOOM release 01-04-17 has been rtagged and released
ZOOM Release Note
New Exceptions features:
- ZMexValidationStyle
to format outputs without timestame and file path.
- ZMthrow_from(exception, line, file)
for use with message preparation routines which should
mimic throwing from a different, remembered line.
- ZMexception::setSeverity(), setName(), setFacility()
- Vetting StandardDefinitions macros
to properly use namespace zmex when ZM_USE_NAMESPACES is
enabled.
New ErrorLogger features:
- Multi-module filtering and exclusion
CLHEP enhancements:
- `NaN-Proofing' the Vector package
No methods will under any circumstances silently produce
a NaN or infinity (or call system routines with arguments
which should produces those), without first ZMthrow-ing.
HepTuple declared production package

Walter Brown's talk on
C++ Meta< Programming > Concepts and Results
This Computing Techniques Seminar was presented April 10, 2001.
It discusses the use of the C++ template mechanism to formulate
powerful compile-time intelligence, at zero run-time cost.
