Cafeteria to Offer Limited Menu on Saturday, July 10
This Saturday, July 10, the cafeteria grills will be closed, due to a limited power outage of the exhaust systems. The cafeteria will offer a continental breakfast. Lunch selections will include salads, deli sandwiches, and hot pizza slices.

Submit timecard on new system by Friday's
This week, every Fermilab employee should begin using the new Fermilab Time and Labor electronic reporting system to create and submit timecards. To help with this transition, please submit your weekly timecard through the new FTL system by Friday, June 25. You can access the new timecard, training materials and contact information for local support teams at http://www.fnal.gov/pub/ftl/launch.html. You can also contact the Service Desk for assistance by calling x2345 or by opening a Service Desk ticket at https://ar-mt1.fnal.gov/arsys/shared/login.jsp?/arsys/.

Argentine Tango, Wednesday, July 7 to 28
Our new series of four tango classes starts Wednesday, July 7 with instructors Daniel Noce and Ramona Nita. Class dates: July 7, 14, 21 and 28. Level 1: Fundamentals: 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. (Practice - 6:30 p.m.) Level 2: Intermediate/Adv.: 8:00 to 9:00 p.m.(Practice - 10:00 p.m.) Pricing for class levels: Regular/Student Attending single level 1 OR 2 (4 class set): $60/$50; Attending both Levels 1 and 2 (4 class set): $85/$80; Individual classes: $18/$15. All Supervisors: Do you need help preparing for performance reviews?
Get a quick 2-hour overview of the performance review process, discussion and form on July 7 and July 15. Have your questions answered by Compensation and Employee Relations. This briefing is a review for supervisors who have completed the FMP Performance Review course and for supervisors who are new to the process but have not yet completed the course. It is that time of year to reflect on our past year’s performance. Please note the following forms must be completed in July: • 2009-2010 accomplishment report (completed by employee) • 2009-2010 performance review form (completed by manager). 10,000 Steps-a-Day Walking Program
Walk Your Way to Fitness. Register for our 10,000 Steps Per Day Walking Program. On the website you can: log your daily steps, receive coaching tips and fun facts, review educational materials, and sign up for an optional continuation program upon completion of this eight week walking program. If you weren't able to participate in the Employee Health & Fitness Day on May 19 and need a pedometer, please stop by the Recreation Department, Wilson Hall, 15 West. ASK HR: The Office for Professional Development - July 12
What questions do you have about management, computer and technical courses or the Lab's tuition assistance programs? "ASK HR: The Professional Development Office" is coming to the Accelerator Division on: Monday, July 12 from 2:00-3:00 p.m. in the Dungeon Conference Room (located in the Cross Gallery). Toastmaster July 15
Bring your lunch and join us in the Wilson Hall, 7th Floor Racetrack Thursday, July 15 at 12:00. This workshop is a follow-up to the Interaction Management workshop series and the Fermilab Management Practices seminar. SciTech summer camps start June 14
From June 14 to July 30, SciTech Hands-on Museum in downtown Aurora will offer 24 one-week camps for children, including the popular camps "Totally ballistic!" and "Kitchen Chemistry" as well as the new "Wild Weather Wonders" camp. Yoga Begins July 6
The next session of Yoga will be held on Tuesdays, July 6 through August 31 from 12:00 - 1:00 p.m. in the Auditorium of Wilson Hall. This class is suitable for all ages and levels of experience. Learn a variety of physical and resting poses along with various breathing and relaxation techniques. Wear comfortable clothes and bring a yoga or exercise mat. Fee is $85/person. Muscle Toning begins July 6
The next session of Bod Squad Muscle Toning begins July 6 and will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays thru August 26 at the Recreation Facility Exercise Room from 5:30-6:30 p.m. Gain strength, lean body mass and increase muscle definition with these strength training classes. Format change for new personnel requisition form
In April, the Employment department rolled out a new and improved personnel requisition form. While the content enhancements have benefited the recruiting process, the pdf format did not function properly for our customers. To resolve these technical issues, the form has reverted to html format. Walking Program Weekly Drawing Winner Announced
Congratulations to Paula Lambertz, last week's winner of a Heart Rate Sports Watch. To date, we have 95 participants that have walked a total of 10,900,113 steps, burned 596,400 calories and walked 5,137 miles. It's not too late to register and participate in our weekly drawings. Deadline Approaching for Requests for Fall 2010 & Spring 2011 On Site Housing
The deadline is approaching for making requests for reservations for houses, apartments, and dormitory rooms for the remainder of 2010 and the Spring of 2011. Please submit your request to the Housing Office by Monday, July 19, 2010. Individual housing requests can be made by using our Online Housing Request form at http://bss.fnal.gov/accommodations/housing_request.html or by calling (630)840-3777. Requests for multiple housing units are best handled by direct email to housing@fnal.gov.
