First graduate students to use Run 2 data in their theses successfully graduate

Last week, the first graduate students using Run 2 data in their theses successfully graduated: on April 16, Melissa Ridel at Orsay, and on April 17 Frederic Deliot, at the University of Paris. Melissa worked on jet reconstruction and squark and gluino searches in D0; Freedric on muon finding and R-parity violating SUSY searches in D0. Congratulations to them both.
