Fermilab invites public to guided tours

This summer Fermilab organizes guided tours for the public. Anybody from the age of 12 to 112 is invited.

Each one-hour tour includes a look at some of Fermilab's accelerators as well as the Main Control Room from which scientists steer more than 40,000 devices to guide particles through the accelerator tunnels. The tour also stops at the Midwest Institute for Neutron Therapy, a cancer treatment center located at Fermilab.
There is no charge for the tour, but advance registration is required. Children age 12 and older are welcome, but an adult must accompany them.

The tours take place on the following dates and times:
Wednesday, August 22, 9:30 a.m.
Friday, August 24, 1:30 p.m.
