Subject: A Major Power Outage

Last week it was discovered that a insulator attached to a 345 kV power pole for the master substation was pulling out of the power pole. (It looks like an extreme case of pole rot.) This development means that we have to replace a power pole.

There will be a 30 minute master substation Power outage followed by three days of repair and a second 30 minute power outage on the 4th day. (Weather permitting.)

The first power outage will be on Tuesday, May 27, 2003 from 7:00-7:30 a.m. . The second power outage will be on Friday, May 30th from 7:00-7:30 a.m. .(Once again, weather permitting.)
