Fermilab employees needed to help with prairie harvest, September 29

This year's first regular volunteer harvest has been restricted to Fermilab employees and users only as a result of heightened security after the September 11th tragic events. We invite Lab employees and users to join us as we work to revive the native grasslands.
Fermilab has been rebuilding tall grass for over 25 years. Over 1100 acres of tallgrass prairie have been reconstructed at Fermilab, and the diversity of plants will continue to grow...with your help!

Saturday, September 29,
in conjunction with National Public Lands Day

Follow the on-site directional signs to the harvest site in the center of the Main Ring.

from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
