LHC++ Presentation for PASFRG

This page is entirely HTML links to the various web pages at CERN from which the material I presented to the March 13, 1998 PASFRG meeting was taken. All items on this page are links to servers at CERN so there may be long downloading delays. In particular, the item "Presenting LHC++" contains a lot of graphics and is quite long.

There are many additional links on the pages available from this one.

The discussion began with some general remarks about the overall strategy the LHC++ group has selected as shown on the page LHC++ Strategy

That led naturally to a number of remarks on the use of commercial components and the logic behind that choice. That is all discussed at length in Presenting LHC++

One of the important components in the set is HepExplorer, the set of additional Explorer modules developed by the LHC++ folks and discussed briefly in HepExplorer

A much more complete description of the modules in the HepExplorer distribution kit is given in Explorer Modules
