George Redlinger: We made some progress last night. It turned out that the dangling cable for the FAst Clear circuit that we plugged back in on Thursday night was plugged back into the wrong place. After correcting this, it looks like the previous failure mode, where the DYC's don't de-assert BUSY, is at least not the dominant failure mode anymore. (I want to say totally eliminated, but we had (I think) one instance where it happened...) The new dominant problem with RSTDC readout and L1.1 triggers is that we get an extra event in the RSTDC cable segment after some number of spills. (We're also getting SYNC errors in the FAstbus ADC's and TDC's which smells of Fast Clear problems in those systems, but that's another story not relevant here. Those systems have Fast Clears that are independent of those for the RSTDC.) There was possibly some evidence that at low beam rates, the above problems were less frequent.
