Promotions for Fourteen Scientists
The following scientists were recently promoted to Scientist II or Applied Scientist II, positions without term limit. This promotion marks a big step in the life of a Fermilab scientist--it recognizes valuable work done over the years.

Fermilab Today congratulates:

Brian Yanny - for his many contributions to SDSS, including in computing and for his leadership of the SEGUE project.
Tenaji Sen - in recognition of his expertise in beam-beam effects and interaction regions, his contributions to the Tevatron and his leadersip in Fermilab accelerator physics efforts for LARP.
Erik Ramberg - for his contributions to a broad range of activites, including the Meson Test Beam, CDMS, COUPP, KTeV analysis, CKM and Fermilab education programs.
Eric Prebys - in recognition of his direct responsibility for the substantial recent increase in Booster intensity, and his demonstrated leadership in the Proton Plan Project.
Milorad Popovic - for his many contributions to Fermilab's accelerators.
Mike Martens - for his valuable contributions to Tevatron operations and upgrades.
Mike Lindgren - in recognition of his outstanding leadership in the BTeV project and in CDF.
Rob Kutschke - in recognition of his significant contributions to FOCUS analysis, to BTeV and to the accelerator BPM system.
Carol Johnstone - for her work on beamline design and her leadership on FFAGs, which has received international recognition.
Sandor Feher - in recognition of his significant contributions to LHC quadrupole testing, the high-field magnet program and his expertise in high Tc magnet leads.
Tom Diehl - in recognition of his leadership of the DZero muon system, of his important contributions to DZero physics analysis and his recent contributions to the SNAP and DES projects.
Paul Derwent - in recognition of his leadership in the Antiproton Source and subsequently the Recycler and his expertise in stochastic cooling .
Fritz DeJongh - in recognition of his important contributions to CDMS and leadership in the SDSS Supernova Survey.

Chandra Bhat - in recognition of his development of the Recycler momentum mining technique and leadership of the 2.5 MHz MI project.
