Service Desk website changing Mar. 19--Take a tour!
On Mar. 19 those requesting help through the Service Desk website will have a slightly different interface. The new interface will have everything the current one has, plus additional views to request services or report outages more easily. Barn Dance Mar. 11
The Fermilab Folk Club presents a Barn Dance on Sunday, Mar. 11 at 6:30 p.m. in the Kuhn Village Barn with music by the Common Taters and calling by Paul Watkins. Everyone is welcome, you don't need to know anything, just come and have fun! Admission is $6, children under 12 are free, 12 to 18 year olds and people over 65 are $3. School's Day Out: Mar. 26-30
School's out Day Camp Mar. 26-30, childcare for school age children (7-12 years) will be offered at Kuhn Barn from 7:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m., cost is $25.00 per camper. Enrollment will be accepted until noon on Friday, Mar. 23. Space is limited and will be filled on a first come, first serve basis. The program will be cancelled if less than 7 register. Campers will need to bring a lunch. A refrigerator and microwave are available. Beverage at lunch, morning and afternoon snack will be provided. Call Mary or Patti at The Children's Center x3762 or email daycare@fnal.gov to register.

Take the Take Five Winter Challenge - Mar. 19
Take the new Take-Five Challenge: Complete the crossword puzzle by Mar. 19 and win a prize. The latest Take-Five poster will help you solve the puzzle. You can find the poster and other information, such as the "Safe, Healthy, Green & At Home" sections, on the Take Five website, a great tool to help you stay safe and healthy at work and at home.

Abri Credit Union is now selling books of stamps
Stamps can be sold to members and non members. Non members must pay cash. There is no additional service fee. Currently, stamps are $9.00 per book.

Fermilab Garden Club Spring Meeting Mar. 14

Fermilab Lecture Series Presents The Intensity Frontier Mar. 23
With the Energy Frontier moving over to Europe and the LHC, Fermilab is making plans to increase its dominance of the Intensity Frontier. The focus of the planned program will be investigations in the area of muon, kaon, neutrino and nuclear studies which will probe for potential new phenomena beyond the current Standard Model of Particle Physics. This lecture will explain the importance of the Intensity Frontier to the world's understanding of nature and its significance to Fermilab. Fermilab Arts Series Presents Eileen Ivers & Immigrant Soul - Mar. 10
"..the future of the Celtic fiddle." - The Washington Post "a sensation." - Billboard Magazine - Just in time for Saint Paddy's, it's one of the most accomplished Celtic fiddle players of our time, Eileen Ivers with her Band Immigrant Soul. Eileen was the original music star of Riverdance, and has gone on to perform with the London Symphony and Boston Pops, found Cherish the Ladies, perform on numerous film as well as with musicians such as The Chieftains, Sting, and Patti Smith. The Office for Profesional and Organization Development has scheduled a session of Fermilab Management Practices (FMP)which includes: Managing within the Law, Job Descriptions and Employment, Behavioral Inteviewing, Interaction Management, Performance Review and Fermilab Functions. "5 Treasures" Qigong for Stress Relief begins Jan. 23
"Five Treasures" is a short, easy to learn, set of Qigong exercises. Specific attention on coordination of breath, posture and intention. This is a more in-depth approach compared to the drop-in classes on Wednesday and Friday. FRA scholarship applications due Apr. 2
The FRA scholarship is awarded on a competitive basis to the child of a parent who is a regular, full-time Fermilab/FRA employee. Scholarship applications are due in the Office for Professional and Organization Development by Apr. 1.
