2009 Asian/Pacific American Heritage Month

To honor Asian/Pacific American Heritage month, Fermilab's Diversity Council hosted a series of cultural dances May 15 in Ramsey Auditorium.

Archana Bokka performs Bharathnatyam: Thodaya Manglam - Ragamalika, a traditional South Indian classical dance for Fermilab employees in honor of Asian/Pacific American Heritage Month.



Sabora Lampkin performs a hip-shaking Polynesian dance common to Hawaii and the island nation of Tahiti.



Archana Bokka showcases the Bollywood-style of Indian dance.



Fermilab Deputy Director Young-Kee Kim moves to the melody of the Korean folk dance "Sal pu ri chum".



Dancers from the Xilin Association demonstrate "Dun Huang Flying Asparas" -- a Chinese classical dance from the Gan Su Province.
