Daycamp Information and Registration
Applications for the onsite day camp for children of Fermilab employees ages 7-12 will be due Feb. 26. For all information there are booklets and registration forms available in the Recreation Office WH15W, the users office, the housing office, the children's center or on the Recreation website. All applications must be in by Feb. 26 by 4 p.m. along with a $25.00 deposit per session per child. 2009 Standard Mileage Reimbursement Rate
The Internal Revenue Service and the General Services Administration have issued the 2009 standard mileage reimbursement rate as .55 cents per mile, effective travel from Jan. 1, 2009. Muscle Toning Classes

Outlook 2007 New Features classes scheduled Feb. 26
Become comfortable with the interface, mail messages and contact management within Outlook 2007. Morning sessions will be offered on Feb. 26th. Nominations Requested for Job Profiles
Do you know an employee who exemplifies what it means to work at Fermilab? The Employment department is updating Employee Profiles on our website to provide applicants with insight on what it is like to work at Fermilab. The profile may include first name, job title, duties, special projects, and career path. Fermilab Barnstormers
The next monthly meeting of the Fermilab Barnstormers Model Airplane club is 5:30pm, February 11th, in the Music Room at the Users Center. At this meeting, Alan Hahn will be explaining everything there is to know about electric powered models. New members are always welcome. Bulgarian Dance Workshop, Feb. 12
Fermilab International Folk Dancing is pleased to present a workshop on Bulgarian dance with Iliana Bozhanova, in her only Chicago area stop on this year's tour from Bulgaria, at 7:30 p.m., Thursday, February 12, at Kuhn Village Barn. Barn Dance Feb. 15
The Fermilab Folk Club presents a Barn Dance on Sunday, Feb. 15 at 2 p.m. in the Kuhn Village Barn with music by Cats on Holiday and calling by Tony Scarimbolo. Everyone is welcome. Admission is $6. Fermilab Blood Drive Feb. 17 & 18
Mark your calendars. Heartland Blood Centers will be here for the Fermilab Blood Drive on Feb. 17 & 18 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Wilson Hall Ground Floor NE Training Room. Argentine Tango Classes begin Feb. 18
Our new series of 4 tango classes starts Wed., Feb. 18. Outstanding Chicago tango dancers, Eduardo Villalba and Bohuslava Samoylenko will teach our next class series at Ramsey Auditorium. Classes start Feb. 18 and run each Wed. thru Mar. 11 - Class set, $60.00 per person - Pay first day of class. English Country Dancing, Mar. 1
English Country Dancing will take place on Sun., Mar. 1, at Kuhn Village Barn. A session for advanced dancers starts at 1 p.m. Dancing for all levels begins at 2 p.m. and there will be live music by Old Fezziwig's Band. A potluck supper will probably follow (assuming there is interest) at about 5:30 p.m. Newcomers are always welcome. All the dances are taught and walked through and no partner is required. On-Site Housing - Summer 2009
The Fermilab Housing Office is now taking requests for houses, apartments, and dormitory rooms for the Summer of 2009. Please submit your request for reservations to the Housing Office by Monday, March 9, 2009. Requests can be made for any period and need not commence on any particular date. Contact the Housing Office at (630)840-3777 or housing@fnal.gov. Individual housing requests can be made by using our online form at http://bss.fnal.gov/accommodations/housing_request.html. Requests for multiple housing units are best handled by direct email to housing@fnal.gov.

NALWO - Adler Planetarium Trip - Mar. 21
Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory Women’s Organization Adler Planetarium & Astronomy Museum Sat., Mar. 21, 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. A chartered school bus will be leaving from the Lederman Education Center at 9:30 a.m. and will return at approximately 3:30 p.m. Tour costs: $10/adult & $8/children (children ages 3 to 14) Pre-paid reservations are required by Mar. 7. Tour cost includes general admission to the planetarium, and to their latest show “Cosmic Collisions” in their all-digital projection Definiti® Space Theater. Lunch is on your own, you may bring a "brown bag".

Child Care program offered - Mar. 24
Exciting Explorations!, a child care program for children ages 7-12, will be offered Mar. 30- Apr. 4 depending on interest. A summer camp counselor will lead the program. Two snacks and beverages are provided. Please send a sack lunch. Program cost is $25.00 a day and payment is due upon reservation. Reservations are due Mar. 24.
