Linux User Group meets Wed., April 29
The Linux User Group, now meeting quarterly, will assemble on Wednesday, April 29 from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. in Wilson Hall Curia II. Topics for discussion include Service Updates, Linux at Fermilab and a feature talk on the Ceph Filesystem by Lincoln Bryant from the University of Chicago. All Linux users and system administrators are encouraged to attend.

For the Life of the World video series starting May 5
The Bible Exploration for Lunch League invites you to view and discuss a new 7-part video series entitled "For the Life of the World: Letters to the Exiles." The editor of Christianity Today wrote that this series is "the best treatment of faith and culture ever put on a screen." A trailer is available at http://letterstotheexiles.com. National Day of Prayer Observance - May 7
All are invited to a National Day Of Prayer observance on Thursday, May 7, from 12:00-12:30 in the "Racetrack" room on the Wilson Hall 7th floor crossover. Interpersonal Communication Skills on May 20

Zumba Toning & Zumba Fitness Registration Due Soon
The next class of Zumba Toning will be held Tuesdays, May 5 - June 9 in the Fitness Center Exercise Room from 12-12:45pm. $40/person. Register in the Wellness Office, WH15W, by April 28th. The next session of Zumba Fitness will be held Thursdays, May 7 - June 4 in the Fitness Center Exercise Room from 12-12:45pm. $35/person. Register in the Wellness Office, WH15W, by April 30th.

Mac OS X security patches enabled TODAY (Tues., April 21)
Starting at 7 a.m. today (Tues., April 21), the Core Computing Division will be enabling OS X updates for Mac computers running OS X Yosemite (10.10.2), Mavericks (10.9.5) and Mountain Lion (10.8.5). Alerts announcing the availability of the security updates for a manual installation will appear on your screen. You can install these updates at a time that is convenient for you. These updates will require a restart. If you do not install the updates at this time, the automatic installation will begin on Tuesday, May 19. If you do not receive alerts or the security updates do not appear after the software update check, please contact the Service Desk for assistance.

Retirement gathering for Barry Barnes - RSVP by April 22
Barry Barnes is retiring from Fermilab after 46 plus years of service. A celebration of Barry's career at the lab will be held Monday, April 27th, at 11:30 a.m. at Kuhn Barn. The cost is $20 per person (includes catered lunch, soft drinks, cake and gift for Barry). If you would like to attend, please sign up and pay Nancy Sells (X4446) by Wednesday, April 22nd.

Philosophy Society: "Value of Fundamental Science", open discussion Thu Apr 23

Yoga Registration Due Soon
The next session of Monday Yoga will be held April 27 - June 15 from 12-12:45pm in the Wilson Hall Ground Floor East Training Room. Fee is $55. Register by April 21 in the Wellness Office, WH15W. Scottish country dancing meets Tuesday evenings at Kuhn Village Barn
Silk and Thistle Scottish country dancing is held every Tuesday evening from 7:30 to 10 p.m. at Kuhn Village Barn. The group and is taught by Doug Jensen. Newcomers are always welcome and are paired with experienced dancers -- no need to come with a partner. There is occasional live music. International folk dancing Thursday evenings at Kuhn Barn
International folk dancing is held every Thursday evening, from 7:30 to 10 p.m. at Kuhn Village Barn. Newcomers are always welcome. There is instruction and dances for children and newer dancers early in the evening and request dancing later on. Many of the dances are lines and circles, with no partners needed. The session will end with cross-step waltz practice to keep up skills from recent workshops. The group dances year-round, moving to Ramsey Auditorium in the summer. Players needed for 2015 Fermilab co-ed softball league
Several teams in the 2015 Fermilab co-ed softball league are looking for both male and female players. Games are played once a week in the Village on either Wednesday or Thursday from the beginning of May through early September, followed by a double-elimination playoff. Come out for the fun! Indoor Soccer

Managing Conflict (am only) on June 10
This class is for individuals who want to boost their conflict management skills. Learn to accept and manage conflict more effectively. 2014 FSA Deadline is April 30
Employees with a 2014 Healthcare or Dependent Care Reimbursement Account must spend the remaining balance by the end of the plan year. Healthcare expenses to be reimbursed with the 2014 Health Care Reimbursement Accounts must be incurred by March 15, 2015. 2014 Dependent Care expenses must be incurred by December 31, 2014. Claims for both types of accounts must be submitted to the plan administrator, Payflex, by April 30, 2015. Employees submit flexible spending claims to PayFlex online at www.healthhub.com or via fax.
