Wilson Hall Cafeteria to be open this weekend
The Wilson Hall Cafeteria will open this Saturday and Sunday, April 18 and 19, from 7:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. to accommodate several meetings and conferences.

Philosophy Society: "Value of Fundamental Science", open discussion Thu Apr 23
An open hour-long discussion on a previously given talk "Value of Fundamental Science" is scheduled on Thu Apr 23, 12:00, Req Room (WH4NW). Everybody is invited. Feel free to come with your lunch. CCD has launched the RemoteApp service
The Core Computing Division has launched a new service called RemoteApp. RemoteApp provides an enhancement to the existing Windows Terminal Server service. RemoteApp enables you to run many Windows applications, including Microsoft Office suite, on your Windows, Mac and Linux computers and on your mobile devices. RemoteApp applications run in their own resizable window, can be dragged between multiple monitors, and have their own entry in the taskbar just like a local application. Yoga Registration Due Soon
The next session of Monday Yoga will be held April 27 - June 15 from 12-12:45pm in the Wilson Hall Ground Floor East Training Room. Fee is $55. Register by April 21 in the Wellness Office, WH15W. No class on Memorial Day, 5/25. The next session of Thursday Yoga will be held April 30 - June 18 from 12-12:45pm in the Wilson Hall Ground Floor East Training Room. Fee is $60. Register by April 23 in the Wellness Office, WH15W. Barn Dance April 19
The Fermilab Folk Club presents a Barn Dance on Sunday, April 19 at 2 p.m. in the Kuhn Village Barn with music by Zero Zip Nada and calling by Dot Kent. Everyone is welcome. You don't need to know anything, just come and have fun! Admission is $6, children under 12 are free, 12 to 18 year olds and people over 65 are $3. Scottish country dancing meets Tuesday evenings at Kuhn Village Barn
Silk and Thistle Scottish country dancing is held every Tuesday evening from 7:30 to 10 p.m. at Kuhn Village Barn. The group and is taught by Doug Jensen. Newcomers are always welcome and are paired with experienced dancers -- no need to come with a partner. There is occasional live music. PowerPoint template and FermiMail signature options available today
Today (Tuesday) the Core Computing Division will install on Windows PCs (except for the Accelerator Division) the Fermilab Microsoft PowerPoint template as a default template and two FermiMail signature options that conform to the Fermilab graphic design standards. Free yoga trial open house class
Are you interested in trying out a Fermi Yoga class? This is your opportunity to try out a Yoga class for free on Monday, April 20th, from 12-12:45pm in the Wilson Hall Ground Floor East Side Training Room. If you are new to yoga this class will help you feel both energized and relaxed. Alignment-based poses and flowing movement combine to improve your flexibility, strength and balance. If you have a yoga or exercise mat please bring it. If not, some will be available for your use. Wear comfortable clothing. Fermilab Summer Day Camp
Day Camp information and registration applications are now available in the Recreation Office WH15W and at The Children's Center. Children age 6-12 (must have completed First Grade) who are dependents of Fermi employees, visitors or contractors are elibigle to attend Day Camp. Camp will consist of 12 one week sessions beginning June 8. Child care will be June 1, however the pool will not be open and there will not be a field trip. See the handbook for additional information. All applications and a $25.00 deposit per session, per child must be turned in before your child can be enrolled. International folk dancing Thursday evenings at Kuhn Barn
International folk dancing is held every Thursday evening, from 7:30 to 10 p.m. at Kuhn Village Barn. Newcomers are always welcome. There is instruction and dances for children and newer dancers early in the evening and request dancing later on. Many of the dances are lines and circles, with no partners needed. The session will end with cross-step waltz practice to keep up skills from recent workshops. The group dances year-round, moving to Ramsey Auditorium in the summer. Players needed for 2015 Fermilab co-ed softball league
Several teams in the 2015 Fermilab co-ed softball league are looking for both male and female players. Games are played once a week in the Village on either Wednesday or Thursday from the beginning of May through early September, followed by a double-elimination playoff. Come out for the fun! Indoor Soccer

Managing Conflict (am only) on June 10
This class is for individuals who want to boost their conflict management skills. Learn to accept and manage conflict more effectively. Fermilab Board Game Guild
The Fermilab Board Game Guild meets every Tuesday at the User's Center from 6:00 PM to 10::PM. Everyone is welcome, and no connection with Fermilab is required. Board games playes include, but are not limited to, Puerto Rico, Ticket To Ride, Seven Wonders, Stone Age, Attica, Alhambra, Citadels, and many more. Nominations for Employee Advisory Group due April 17
Nominations are now being accepted for new members to serve on the EAG. The committee meets once per month and is regularly joined by several members of the senior management team. Fermilab benefits from the EAG's formal recommendations, which come after the EAG studies a topic, as well as the extensive discussions of complex issues. 2014 FSA Deadline is April 30
Employees with a 2014 Healthcare or Dependent Care Reimbursement Account must spend the remaining balance by the end of the plan year. Healthcare expenses to be reimbursed with the 2014 Health Care Reimbursement Accounts must be incurred by March 15, 2015. 2014 Dependent Care expenses must be incurred by December 31, 2014. Claims for both types of accounts must be submitted to the plan administrator, Payflex, by April 30, 2015. Employees submit flexible spending claims to PayFlex online at www.healthhub.com or via fax.
