Barn Dance - April 12
The Fermilab Folk Club presents a Barn Dance on Sunday, April 12 at 6:30 p.m. in the Kuhn Village Barn with music by the Common Taters and calling by Meg Dedolph. Everyone is welcome. You don't need to know anything, just come and have fun! Admission is $6, children under 12 are free, 12 to 18 year olds and people over 65 are $3. International folk dancing Thursday evenings at Kuhn Barn
International folk dancing is held every Thursday evening, from 7:30 to 10 p.m. at Kuhn Village Barn. Newcomers are always welcome. There is instruction and dances for children and newer dancers early in the evening and request dancing later on. Many of the dances are lines and circles, with no partners needed. The session will end with cross-step waltz practice to keep up skills from recent workshops. The group dances year-round, moving to Ramsey Auditorium in the summer. English country dancing this Sunday, April 12, at Kuhn Barn
English country dancing will be held this Sunday, April 12, at Kuhn Village Barn. The program starts with dances for experienced dancers at 1 p.m., and dances for everyone from 2 to 5 p.m. Newcomers are always welcome to join this social and accessible sort of dancing. We will dance to beautiful recorded music. Next month's dance, on May 24, will feature live music by Old Fezziwig's Band. The group meets monthly, year-round. Budker Seminar 4/13/15

Glacier tax prep access codes
This is a reminder to any Fermilab sponsored visa holders that access codes for Glacier Tax Prep software will be available until April 15, 2015. Please email the visa office to request an access code if you will be using Glacier Tax Prep to file your taxes. visaoffice@fnal.gov.

GCC power outages April 7 and 8

Players needed for 2015 Fermilab co-ed softball league
Several teams in the 2015 Fermilab co-ed softball league are looking for both male and female players. Games are played once a week in the Village on either Wednesday or Thursday from the beginning of May through early September, followed by a double-elimination playoff. Come out for the fun! Mac OS X security patches to be enabled on Tuesday, March 31
On Tuesday, March 31, starting at 7 a.m., the Core Computing Division will enable several OS X updates for Mac computers running OS X Yosemite (10.10). Alerts announcing the availability of the security updates for a manual installation will appear on your screen. You can install these updates at a time that is convenient for you. These updates will require a restart. If you do not install the updates at this time, the automatic installation will begin on Tuesday, April 28

Indoor Soccer

Managing Conflict (am only) on June 10
This class is for individuals who want to boost their conflict management skills. Learn to accept and manage conflict more effectively. Fermilab Village Easter Egg Hunt April 8, with RSVP by April 1
All Fermilab children are invited to NALWO-Playgroup's Fermilab Village Easter Egg Hunt on Wednesday, April 8, at 5 p.m. Check in is at the Music Room of the Users' Center by 5 p.m. sharp. There will be age-specific activities starting right after 5 p.m. Attendees should bring healthy snacks for sharing and an Easter basket to fill. Fermilab Board Game Guild
The Fermilab Board Game Guild meets every Tuesday at the User's Center from 6:00 PM to 10::PM. Everyone is welcome, and no connection with Fermilab is required. Board games playes include, but are not limited to, Puerto Rico, Ticket To Ride, Seven Wonders, Stone Age, Attica, Alhambra, Citadels, and many more. MAC OS X security updates Tues., March 24
On Tues., March 24 from 7 a.m. the Core Computing Division is enabling OS X security updates for Mac computers running OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.5), Mavericks (10.9.5), and Yosemite (10.10.2). An alert will prompt installation or you can select "Software Update" in the Apple menu; no restart is required. If you do not install manually now, automatic install will start on Tuesday, April 14. If you experience any issues, please submit a Service Desk ticket.

Nominations for Employee Advisory Group due April 17
Nominations are now being accepted for new members to serve on the EAG. The committee meets once per month and is regularly joined by several members of the senior management team. Fermilab benefits from the EAG's formal recommendations, which come after the EAG studies a topic, as well as the extensive discussions of complex issues. 2014 FSA Deadline is April 30
Employees with a 2014 Healthcare or Dependent Care Reimbursement Account must spend the remaining balance by the end of the plan year. Healthcare expenses to be reimbursed with the 2014 Health Care Reimbursement Accounts must be incurred by March 15, 2015. 2014 Dependent Care expenses must be incurred by December 31, 2014. Claims for both types of accounts must be submitted to the plan administrator, Payflex, by April 30, 2015. Employees submit flexible spending claims to PayFlex online at www.healthhub.com or via fax.

Interpersonal Communication Skills course - May 20
This course is for employees that would like to increase awareness of their communication skills and personality type.
