Bible Exploration for Lunch League starting Genesis study September 16
The Bible Exploration for Lunch League will be starting a new study on the biblical book of Genesis on September 16. We will be looking into questions that everyone from philosophers to little children ask, such as "How did the world begin?" and "Why am I here?" Genesis is neither a philosophical treatise nor a scientific paper but it offers answers to questions about beginning and purpose. Join us as we explore this book on Tuesdays at noon in the Quarium on the 8th floor of Wilson Hall, southwest corner. This class is for individuals who want to boost their conflict management skills. Learn to accept and manage conflict more effectively. Barn Dance September 14
The Fermilab Folk Club presents a Barn Dance on Sunday, Sept. 14 at 6:30 p.m. in the Kuhn Village Barn with music by the KB Band and calling by Lynn Garren, everyone is welcome. Nanotechnology Lecture - Friday at Fermilab

Waltz and historical dance workshops, live music waltz party Sept. 12-13 at Kuhn Barn
Susan de Guardiola, a world-renowed dance historian, will visit Fermilab for the "Harvest Moon Dance Weekend" Friday and Saturday Sept. 12-13. On Friday 9/12, Susan will teach a workshop on Cross- Step Waltz, to recorded music, 7:30 p.m. at Kuhn Barn. Saturday afternoon from 1 to 5 p.m. Susan will teach a workshop "Time Travelling through Social Dance" also at Kuhn Barn. A potluck supper will follow, and then from 7 p.m. on 9/13 there will be a Waltz dance party with live music by Martha Edwards and Jonathan Whitall. Weight Management Class
This 10 week Lifestyle Patterns Approach to Weight Management class is a convenient workplace program led by Tiffany Davis, MS, RD, LDN. Tiffany is a Licensed and Registered Dietitian with a strong passion for nutritional counseling. She recognizes the impact that stress, depression, and anxiety can have on one's eating. As a Dietitian, she effectively works with individuals motivating, educating and inspiring to bring about life long changes. International folk dancing meets Thursday evenings through September 4 at Ramsey Auditorium, and returns to Kuhn Barn September 11 (just in time for a preview of cross-step waltz to be taught at the the Harvest Moon Dance Weekend Sept. 12-14). Dancing runs from 7:30 to 10 p.m. and newcomers are always welcome. There is instruction and dances for children and newer dancers early and request dancing later on. NBI 2014 Workshop
The 9th Neutrino Beams and Instrumentation Workshop will be held at Fermilab on September 23-26. This workshop is a unique opportunity for physicists and engineers, working on conventional neutrino beams, to meet together, and discuss intensively their equipment in operating and planned experiments. Traditionally, this workshop focuses closely on the actual physical devices that compose neutrino beam facilities, with an emphasis on operating experiments and those at advanced phases of construction or planning.
