Wilson Hall cafeteria to close at 2 p.m. today
The Wilson Hall Cafeteria will close at 2:00 p.m. today to prepare for the labwide party.

Labwide party - Today
Celebrate the restart of Fermilab's accelerator complex with your colleagues. Join the labwide party on Friday, Dec. 6, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. in Wilson Hall.

Cashier's Office closed during holidays
The Cashier's Office will close at 3 pm on December 20 and reopen at 1 pm on January 2, 2014.

Box Office moves to the Mezzanine December 5
On Thursday, December 5, Fermilab's Box Office will move from One North to the mezzanine. Ticketing services will be unavailable during the move. If you have questions or concerns about the move or about how to find our new location on the mezzanine, please contact Amanda Thompson at x4203.

NALWO winter coffee today
NALWO’s winter coffee, Monday, December 9 from 11:00am until 1:00pm at Wilson Hall Art Gallery (Cross Over Section, 2nd Floor). Please bring a favorite dessert or appetizer from your country, but if you cannot bring a treat, please come anyway! Scottish country dancing meets Tuesday evenings through Dec. 17 at Kuhn Village Barn
Silk and Thistle Scottish Country Dancing meets at Kuhn Village Barn on Tuesdays, Dec. 3, 10 and 17, and then will resume on Jan. 7, 2014. The group dances from 7:30 to 10 p.m., sometimes to live music, and is taught by Doug Jensen. Most dances are walked through and newcomers are always welcome. International folk dancing meets Thursday evenings in Kuhn Village Barn
International Folk Dancing takes place in Kuhn Village Barn every Thursday evening, and will continue through the holidays without a break. Dancing begins at 7:30 p.m with instruction and dances for children, and there is request dancing later on. Newcomers are always welcome. Fermilab Family Holiday Party - Dec. 11
Celebrate the holiday season with other Fermilab families! Stop by the Kuhn Barn with your kids anytime from 5 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, December 11 for festive games, crafts and food. Pizza will be provided; please bring a dessert or side dish to share. All Fermilab families are invited to attend. Wilson Hall Super Science Stocking Stuffer Sale - Dec. 11-12

Strength Training by Bod Squad

Fermilab Arts Series: Jingle Babes: Four Bitchin' Babes - Dec. 14
It's a crazy-making time of year and yet we love it! Join the Four Bitchin' Babes as they deck the concert hall with songs and folly. Sharing musical traditions, shtick and stories of friends and family, malls and mayhem, and ultimately the joy that lies within it all. "We laughed our antlers off!" - Donner & Blitzen. Babes are Sally Fingerett, Diedre Flint, Debi Smith & Marcy Marxer. These accomplished and seasoned musician-actress comediennes come together taking turns in the spotlight filling it with whimsical songs and shtick, presenting the hippest and most luxurious girl group harmonies evah! Wilson Street Entrance Closed Starting December 2, 2013
The Wilson Street entrance to the Fermilab site will be closed starting Monday, December 2, 2013 because of road and access improvements. The site entry is tentatively scheduled to reopen on December 16, 2013, weather permitting. Truck deliveries and employees will be re-routed to the Pine Street entrance.

Revised dates for the Take Five 2013 Challenge
Take 5 and win a prize! Take 5 to visit the Take Five for Goal Zero webpage and participate in the Take 5 Winter Challenge 2013 online here: http://www.fnal.gov/pub/takefive/challenge/challenge-006.html. You may also download and print the challenge and bring it to the ESH&Q Section on Wilson Hall 7-East, or send it in through the Fermi Mail to MS 119 by December 18, 2013. All successful submittals will be entered into the ESH&Q Take 5 Raffle. Five personnel will be notified of their prizes on December 19, 2013. So, don’t delay, take the challenge today! A Clue! Certified Administrative Professional (CAP) Study Group - Registration Deadline 12/10/13
Interested in participating in the next CAP study group The class will be held on Wednesdays, January 15 through May 7, 2014. This employee-led group will prepare to earn the Certified Administrative Professional (CAP) designation by completing an exam given by the International Association of Administrative Professionals http://www.iaap-hq.org/ on May 3, 2014. The group will meet for 16 weeks - once per week for 2 hours (lunch hour plus 1 hour of work time approved by the supervisor). Cost is $450. For more information contact S.
