SPIE Digital Library Online Trial at Fermilab
The world's largest collection of full-text articles on optics and photonics applied research is now available. We have site-wide online access to the SPIE Digital Library http://spiedigitallibrary.org/ through October 21. This includes all SPIE conference proceedings, journals and eBooks. The purpose of the trial is to see if there is enough interest here to warrant a site-wide subscription. Please send comments to library@fnal.gov.
Indoor Soccer Now on Tuesdays and Thursdays
Indoor soccer will be held in the Fitness Center Gym begining September 24 on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6-9pm. Please note that this is a change to previously scheduled Wednesdays and Fridays. You must have a Fermi ID with a current paid gym membership in order to participate. To obtain a gym membership please come to the Wellness Office in Wilson Hall, 15th floor. Basketball Open Gym on Wednesdays

Big Move t-shirts available for purchase
Big Move t-shirts featuring the Muon g-2 electromagnet's journey from Brookhaven to Fermilab are now available for purchase at the Lederman Science Center and online at http://ed.fnal.gov/ffse/store. Shirts are $10-$12 and available in adult, ladies' and youth sizes.
NALWO "English Conversation" Mornings
NALWO sponsored English conversation groups will resume meeting Wednesday mornings, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., in the Music Room at the Users' Center. Meetings are free and you may begin at any time. Simply sign-in with the volunteer group leaders when you arrive. Accelerate to a Healthy Lifestyle
ESH&Q's three month, 30-minute-of-exercise, 3-days-a-week program continues through October of this year. Those already participating should continue logging their workout minutes via the ESH&Q webpage. To those not yet participating, it is never too late! You can join any time. Participants can retroactively log their minutes. Participants who log a minimum of 90 minutes per week can stop by WH7E at the conclusion of each month on either a Monday or Thursday (9:30-11:30)to collect their participation award. International folk dancing meets Thursday evenings in Ramsey Auditorium
International Folk Dancing will continue to meet during September every Thursday on the stage of Ramsey Auditorium, from 8:30 to 11 p.m. There is instruction and dances for children and newer dancers early and request dancing later on. Newcomers are always welcome. More info at

Interpersonal Communication Skills class scheduled for Dec. 4
Assess your communication strengths and weaknesses; understand the differences between passive, assertive and aggressive communication; learn how to speak with more enthusiasm, expressiveness and clarity; become a more effective listener; learn how non-verbal messages affect communication; learn how to work and communicate more effectively with different personality styles; and set specific communication goals as part of your individualized Communication Plan (CAP) and apply them daily back on the job.
