TRAIN has two new enhancements
A new waiting list feature will allow a person who selects a course using “Find Unscheduled Courses” to be automatically enrolled as soon as a class becomes available. At that time, an email will be sent to the enrollee with instructions on how to drop the class if the class date does not fit their schedule. The email notification to the enrollee will contain an attachment suitable for most calendar software applications to remind them of the upcoming class date and time. Life on Mars - Fermilab Lecture Series - Sept. 13
One year ago, NASA landed the one-ton rover called Curiosity on the surface of Mars as part of an ongoing series of missions to determine the viability of life. One of the most compelling discoveries so far has been the possible presence of liquid water on Mars, which leads to the next question of whether microscopic organisms could have survived, or still survive today. It also has bearing on whether there is potential for future sustainable habitation of Mars. NASA's Lead Scientist for Mars Exploration Program, Michael Meyer, will present the latest discoveries of the Mars program on Friday, Sept. 13 at 8 p.m. in Ramsey Auditorium, tickets are $7 - phone 840.ARTS or go to www.fnal.gov/culture.
