Rimondi, who passed away in 2011, was born in Bologna and worked at CERN beginning in the late 1970s prior to coming to Fermilab in 1987. The workshop will include a discussion about Rimondi's involvement with the CDF experiment at Fermilab, where he was the first researcher of the Bologna INFN Section and Physics Department to join the collaboration.
