Bologna workshop in honor of Franco Rimondi
A high energy physics workshop https://sites.google.com/a/associazionefr.org/en/notizie dedicated to Franco Rimondi will take place on Friday, May 24 in Bologna, Italy. Rimondi, who passed away in 2011, was born in Bologna and worked at CERN beginning in the late 1970s prior to coming to Fermilab in 1987. The workshop will include a discussion about Rimondi's involvement with the CDF experiment at Fermilab, where he was the first researcher of the Bologna INFN Section and Physics Department to join the collaboration. Because of his participation with CDF, he advocated that small groups, or even a single researcher, can successfully participate in large collaborations.
