English country dancing Sunday, Apr. 1, with live music
English country dancing will meet this Sunday, Apr. 1, at Kuhn Village Barn. The afternoon will feature live music by Old Fezziwig's Band and a playful program. There are dances for experienced dancers at 1 p.m., and dances for everyone from 2 until 5 p.m. Newcomers are always welcome. Crown Financial Ministries biblical financial principles video series beginning Apr. 10
Beginning at noon on Apr. 10, the Bible Exploration For Lunch League will be viewing the biblical financial principles video series called "God Provides" from Crown Financial Ministries. The 6 videos are dramatic presentations of Bible stories with financial themes. Each video is short so there will be plenty of time for discussion. Martial Arts Classes Apr. 3
Kyuki-Do is a Korean martial art similar to Taekwondo. The next Fermi Kyuki-Do Martial Arts session begins on Apr. 3. I will teach you how to kick, punch, block, throw and fall, fight, and basic self defense. Classes are held for six weeks on Monday and Wednesdays from 5:00-6:00pm at the Recreation Facility in the Village. You need to register for the class through the Recreation Office. The cost is $55.00. You do not need a gym membership to join this class. I will supply a free uniform to students who have never participated in martial arts before.
Wireless network maintenance mornings of Mar. 27 - Mar. 29
The Network Services group will perform maintenance on the Fermilab wireless network from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. each day from Tuesday, Mar. 27 until Thursday, Mar. 29. This maintenance should be largely unobtrusive for those of you using wireless on your notebooks, phones or other mobile devices. However, you may notice a few brief disruptions during these periods.
Changarro restaurant offers 15% discount to employees

Silk and Thistle Scottish Country Dancing is held Kuhn Village Barn every Tuesday from 7:30 to 10 p.m. The group is taught by Doug Jensen. Monday Night Golf League
The Monday night golf league will play at Tanna Farms on Hughes Road in Geneva with a start date of Apr. 23 for a total of 16 weeks. The cost is $25.00 to join the league with a course fee of $25.00 per week which includes a mandatory cart fee. The course will allow us to play as many holes as we can up to 18, but only the first 9 are used for score keeping. The format is Individual Medal Play. Argentine tango classes at Fermilab
Learn to dance Argentine Tango with Daniel Noce of Tango Che! Tango classes are held each Wednesday in Ramsey Audiorium. Tango Basic Class: 7 to 8 p.m.; Argentine Vals(Waltz)Class: 8 to 9 p.m. Per person price: One-4 class set-$60/$50*; Two-4 class sets: $90/$80*; Single class: $18/$15*; Two classes: $30/$25* (*denotes student discount) pay at class. Fermilab Golf League
The weather is changing and your clubs are getting anxious. Do them a favor and play more golf this summer! The Fermilab Golf League is starting it's 2012 season and is looking for golfers. We have leagues at three different local courses on different evenings during the week. Our leagues have golfers of all abilities (some even play left-handed). The leagues offer structured, friendly, handicapped team competition. Openings exist for golfers playing once a week and those interested in substituting once in a while. 2012 CTEQ-Fermilab school on QCD and electroweak phenomenology
This is the first announcement of the 2012 CTEQ-Fermilab Schoolon QCD and Electroweak Phenomenology, to be held in Lima Peru. The primary goal of this year's CTEQ school will be to provide a focused introduction to perturbative quantum chromodynamics and electroweak physics with applications to LHC and Intensity Frontier experiments. Abri Credit Union is now selling books of stamps
Stamps can be sold to members and non members. Non members must pay cash. There is no additional service fee. Currently, stamps are $9.00 per book.

The FRA scholarship is awarded on a competitive basis to the child of a parent who is a regular, full-time Fermilab/FRA employee.
