Oxygen Deficiency Hazard. In areas where a cryogenic system is used a cryogen leak can displace Oxygen creating a hazard to personnel. This necessitates the implementation of special safety procedures and Oxygen monitoring equipment for working in designated ODH areas. Also, any area that has a lack of proper ventilation may be considered a possible ODH area.
