Operation Terminology New Muon Lab
The New Muon Lab building (NML) is now an International Linear Collider (ILC) RF test facility and is being used to develop and test superconducting radio-frequency cavities, a key technology for the next generation of particle accelerators and the future of particle physics. Scientists plan to use the SRF technology for parts of the Project X accelerator and the ILC.
