The Illinois Department of Public Health and Illinois Poison Center are working together answer Illiois residents' about the flu. The Illinois State Public Health Director says the new hotline can help callers determine when to see a doctor or if emergency treatment is needed among other flu-related issues. The 24-hour hotline has both English and Spanish-language lines. The flu hotline is (866) 848-2094 for English and (866)241-2138 for Spanish.
