Neutrino Factory Physics Study Group
The intense muon beams needed for high
luminosity muon colliders
produce intense beams of neutrinos.
Dedicated muon storage rings with long
straight sections pointing in the desired
directions have been proposed to exploit
these neutrinos. The Fermilab directorate have
requested a 6 month study to assess the physics
capabilities of a neutrino factory.
