1.  Beam Diagnostics meeting preview - Dan Kaplan

Meeting at CERN July 13-14 Dan will give a talk 
on cooling simulations.

2.  1Initial study of Alt. Sol. lattice
200 MHz version from Ed Black 
simulated by Dan Kaplan usin DPGEANT
seems to be somewhat better than Design
Study I FOFO channel.
Dan also tried putting coils in cavity
irises (rentrant cavities); first try was worse than previous cases
but not yet optimized and can be improved.


3.  Al Moretti described rf for 200 MHz,
showing reentrant cavity designs with coils
in the reentrant inserts.
and plans for a 200 MHz facility; 
using surplus Fermilab equipment. 

4.  From Triumf E-875 Yuriy reported on the muon
scattering experiment. pi-mu-e are separated
by time of flight (14m, 150 MeV/c) and energy
deposition. Be, Li, Al scatterer in/out compared.
Results will be presented at CERN July 12.
