Printing posters at Fermilab's Visual Media Services

To ensure that your poster will be ready for the Users' Meeting, please bring a pdf of your poster to VMS as soon as possible, right now if you are able. VMS is located in the northwest corner of the ground floor of Wilson Hall. They normally print about 15 posters per day. Those who do not request printing from VMS before noon on Monday June 10 risk that their poster order may not be filled on time.

Setting up your poster

The poster session will take place in the Wilson Hall Atrium. We prefer that you bring in your poster to be set up on Monday June 10. If you need assistance, please e-mail the FSPA officers or contact Barb Book in the Users' Office in the northwest corner of Wilson Hall's 1st floor. Those who are unable to have their posters on display by June 10 will be contacted with specific instructions.

On Monday and Tuesday, June 10 and June 11, 2013, the Annual New Perspectives Conference takes place at Fermilab. This conference is aimed at young physicists in High Energy or Nuclear physics, of under-graduate, graduate and post-doctoral levels. There will be a barbecue in front of Kuhn Barn on June 11. Wednesday, June 12, 2013, at the 46th annual Users' Meeting, posters by Fermilab graduate students, postdocs, and research associates will be featured during the evening reception.

New Perspectives talks should be a maximum of 15 minutes long (12, plus 3 for questions). The deadline for abstract submissions for Users' Meeting posters and for New Perspectives talks is Saturday, June 1st.

Please register also for the Users' Meeting here .

New Perspectives is organized by Fermi Student and Postdoc Association.

Contact the FSPA officers if you have any questions.
