Candidate Statement
I'm a recent PhD and happily, about to celebrate my third
Fermiversary. In the time I have been here, our community of young
people here has shown great potential, only some of which has been
realized, but which could greatly embiggen our own lives and even the
role of science in society at large. I plan to bring young people here
together more effectively, both socially and for navigating the
various common obstacles of our early careers. Young people of all
descriptions here at Fermilab are our own best resource for support.
We are also a resource to our greater community, so we should continue
to reach out to the greater community as a voice for the lab and for
science. All of these are functions of the new, enlarged FSPA, and I
would be honored to be a part of making it happen for us.
