Obviously, getting a map is probably a good idea. You can find lots of maps and Chicago guides in the local bookstores and gas stations. A Chicago 'Easy Finder' laminated street map can be found for $4.95 at most gas stations. The Speedway on the corner of Batavia Rd. and Rte. 59 has a good map selection.
