Neighborhoods

The suburbs around Fermilab offer places to go and things to do, if you look for them. Some suggestions are offered below.

The downtown areas of the nearby towns have various shops and restaurants of interest. Geneva has many quaint little shops and restaurants, along State St and Third St; Downtown Naperville (Jefferson street between Washington and Mill) is pretty nice, with lots of small shops and old buildings.

During the spring and summer, you might want to take advantage of the nice parks and bike paths in the area. Batavia, Geneva, and St. Charles have parks and bike paths along both sides of the Fox River, which connect with the bike paths at Fermilab.
