One of the default mailing accounts is an account for fnal.gov. This machine is a mail server that allows you to set the forwarding address on the mail that is sent to your_user_name@fnal.gov.

The Training and Development department ( http://lss.fnal.gov/train-dev/index.html) offers classes to employees and visiting scientists of Fermilab and Argonne National Laboratory. The types of classes offered include programming classes in Object Oriented approaches including classes in C++ and Java. Classes in Unix and also Windows NT are also offered as are classes in the Microsoft Office Suite. For all classes other than the ordinary PC classes (such as the Microsoft Office Suite or HTML classes) there is an 100% subsidy for graduate students from institutions or universities which are members of the URA (Universities Research Association).
