Abstract: We describe the GammeV experiment - a gamma to milli-eV particle search using a "light shining through a wall" technique. The experiment involves shining a high-powered laser into a Tevatron magnet in the middle of which sits a mirror (the "wall"). If some of the photons convert into possible new milli-eV particles, they can pass through the "wall" and have a small probability of reconverting back into detectable photons on the other side of the "wall."
