"Noise Sources Analysis in the LLRF Electronics"
Abstract:
In the LLRF control system electronics, noise sources have to be understood
and minimized if tight demands for phase and amplitude stability want to be
satisfied. Noise measurements of various LLRF system modules are described
and a recently published analysis method is used to evaluate the impact of
these noises to overall performances. Finally, results are presented and the
most critical modules in terms of noise in the LLRF control system
electronics are identified.
