Title:
"Top quark mass measurement in dilepton channel"
Abstract:
We present a top quark mass measurement using 1.2 fb^-1 of data
collected by the CDF experiment. The measurement uses ttbar event
candidates which have two high transverse momentum leptons, at least
two
jets and missing transverse energy from escaping neutrinos.
Reconstruction
of the top quark mass from dilepton events involves an underconstrained
system. In this analysis, it is resolved by introducing an additional
equation for the longitudinal momentum of the ttbar system. The
sample is separated into b-tagged and non-tagged sub-samples, and the
top
quark mass is reconstructed for each event. The measured top mass from
70 candidate events is
Mtop=169.1 +5.2-4.9 (stat.) +-3.1 (syst.) GeV/c^2.
