Title: "Search for NuMu --> NuE Oscillations in MINOS"

Abstract:

MINOS is a long baseline neutrino experiment using the NuMI neutrino beam to study neutrino oscillations. MINOS will be able to improve the limit on the neutrino mixing angle theta13 by searching for an electron neutrino appearance signal in the far detector from numu beams. We may make the first measurement of theta13 with improved proton intensity if theta13 is found to be sufficiently large. I will present the method to identify electron neutrinos and show the systematics analysis using the MINOS near detector data.
