Title:
"Analysis of D0-D0bar mixing using CDF detector"
Abstract:
Search for D0-D0bar mixing has been a longstanding problem in physics. Observations of this effect could be an indirect signal to new physics. Recently, Babar and Belle experiments have found evidence for D0-D0bar mixing. Their results are consistent with standard model predictions. It is possible to measure mixing parameters more precisely using CDF II detector at Fermilab. We measure the ratio of doubly Cabibbo suppressed decay (D0-> K+ pi-) to Cabibbo favored decay (D0-> K-pi+) and the mixing paramters x'^2 and y'^2. In this talk we present results of the analysis of the data obtained from ppbar collisions at sqrt(s) = 1.96 TeV and integrated luminosity of 1 fb-1 at CDF II detector.
