
The Fermilab Folk Club sponsors regular monthly barn dances to promote and preserve traditional square and contra dancing. You can also do International Folk Dancing and Scottish Country Dance at Fermilab.

Due to increased security at Fermilab, the barn dances have been moved to the Warrenville Community Building (map), located at 3S240 Warren Ave. near the intersection of Batavia Rd. and Rt. 56 (Butterfield Rd.).
From Butterfield Rd. (Illinois Route 56) go south on Batavia Rd. Take the first right. Go 1 block and turn left on Warren Ave. The Community Building is across the street from the Police Station.
The Barn Dances are co-sponsored by the Fox Valley Folklore Society, the Chicago Barn Dance Company, and the Warrenville Park District.
