Simplifying the task - II

• Both experiments feel that their software infrastructure will not scale to meet the demands of Run II
  • Use the need to reinvent the software as an opportunity to promote commonality, split tasks up, and use CD resources more effectively than in past
  • Experiments should assert their individuality through cleverness in physics applications, reconstruction, analysis techniques. This also establishes a clear line which defines the limits of possible CD involvement
