July 13 --- Tours of Fermilab Experiments and Accelerator Facilities

On Sunday July 13, guided tours of the Main Injector tunnel, the magnet factory, and the CDF and D0 collider detectors will be offered. The program will start at 2:00 p.m, with each tour being offered once during the afternoon. Each tour will last approximately 45min.

Maps and instructions for where to meet the tour guides will be available at the Wilson Hall reception desk starting at 1:30pm. Any additional tours scheduled after this announcement will also be listed on the map/instruction handout. The tour schedule is as follows:

1:30 Pick up Map/Schedule at the Wilson Hall Front Desk

2:00 D0 Experiment

3:00 CDF Experiment

4:00 Magnet Factory (MP9)

5:00 Main Injector

People are asked to wear sensible walking shoes (not heels or sandals) because of the hazards associated with detector installation and removal and Main Injector tunnel construction.

Tours will be open to members of the Fermilab User Community who have registered for the Users Meeting.
