Brendan Casey

Statement:
This is an exciting time to be member the Fermilab community.  We have 
a new director, we have exciting results coming out of all our programs, 
and we have a clear long term goal of hosting the international linear collider.

The challenge is funding and there is only one solution.  High Energy Physics 
must be considered a national priority.  Convincing our nations of this must be 
an integral part of the mission of all groups like the UEC.  We must work to 
convince ourselves, convince our colleagues, convince our neighbors, and 
convince our nations that what we are doing is just as important as putting 
a man on Mars or building fusion experiments.

That is the challenge.  And it's not impossible.
