Fermilab's logo – which includes both the historic mark and the word "Fermilab" – serves as the core graphic identity for the lab. Whenever possible and practical, use the logo in its entirety as described and provided below.
The Fermilab logo includes both the Fermilab mark and the word "Fermilab”.
The logo has been formalized as follows:
Sub-units of Fermilab (divisions, sections, centers, departments, organizations) that have a need for their own logo may request a Fermilab co-branded logo from Visual Media Services. An example of the Fermilab co-branded logo is shown below.
The use of the Fermilab logo (including the word “Fermilab”) is strongly preferred. If it is necessary to use the mark alone, it must be used as described in the original technical drawing (0122.9MC-1050). These exact proportions specified should be maintained in all applications.
The mark should not be placed in close proximity to any other words or images such that it would appear to form, or be part of, any logo other than the official Fermilab logo.
The Fermilab logo and mark should only be obtained directly from the download links on this page. Only unaltered usage is permitted. The logo and mark shall not be used in any manner that falsely implies employment by, or affiliation with, Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory. The Fermilab logo and mark may not be used for commercial purposes, including but not limited to endorsement of products or services.
