Nominations sought for Employee Advisory Group

If you have insights, suggestions and concerns about Fermilab policies and programs that affect your workplace, the Directorate needs you. Nominations are now being sought for eight new members to serve on Fermilab's Employee Advisory Group. The EAG provides Fermilab's senior management with recommendations from an employee perspective as the laboratory develops and implements new and revised workplace policies and programs.

Nominations are encouraged from all job categories, all divisions, sections and centers, and from new and long-time employees. Members serve three-year terms, attending meetings approximately once per month. EAG members are expected to communicate with their fellow employees about issues under consideration to expand the range of viewpoints represented in their advice to laboratory management.

Nominations are due by March 16. Employees are welcome to nominate their colleagues or to self-nominate. Nomination forms are available online or in the Office of Communication on the atrium level of Wilson Hall.

The EAG management survey results and analysis are now available.

In response to issues raised in the employee focus group process, the Fermilab Directorate formed an employee advisory group. The group consists of approximately 21 members who provide Fermilab senior management with employee perspectives, concerns, insights and suggestions with regard to the development and implementation of new and revised policies that affect the Fermilab workplace. It is Fermilab’s goal to establish and maintain a safe and productive workplace environment where employees can pursue the highest quality work while maintaining a healthy work/life balance.
